Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2025

The Bottom Line, Up Front

🔒 Your privacy matters. I run a small sticker business, not a data harvesting operation.

I collect only what I absolutely need to get your stickers to you safely: your email, shipping address, and payment info (which goes straight to Stripe, not me). I don't sell your data, I don't share it with marketers, and I don't track you around the web with creepy cookies.

This policy exists because the law requires it, but also because I believe you deserve to know exactly what happens with your information. At the end of the day, YOU are in control of your data.

Simple promise: I treat your data the way I'd want mine treated - full stop.

What Information I Collect (And Why)

Information you give me directly:

  • Email Address: So I can send you order confirmations and answer questions if something goes wrong
  • Shipping Address: Pretty obvious - I need to know where to send your stickers
  • Payment Details: Handled entirely by Stripe (I never see your card info)
  • Custom Print Files: If you upload artwork, it is securely stored (and I do usually retain this for ease of re-order, but am MORE than happy to delete it if you would prefer)
  • Messages: When you contact me through the site or email

That's it. No social media stalking, no "marketing profiles," no tracking your browsing habits.

What Gets Collected Automatically

Some basic technical stuff happens automatically when you visit:

  • Your Country: I detect this to automatically show international shipping if you're outside the US (makes checkout easier for you)
  • Cart Contents: Stored in your browser so your cart doesn't disappear when you refresh the page
  • Session Info: Basic cookies so you stay logged in and the site remembers you (mostly applicable to Stickerbox accounts)
  • Technical Data: Your IP address, browser type, etc. (standard web server logs that are collected by default from the web hosting service and etc.)

No Analytics Tracking: I don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking scripts that follow you around the internet.

How I Use Your Information

I use your info for exactly what you'd expect:

  • Process and ship your orders
  • Send you order updates and tracking info
  • Answer your questions and provide customer support
  • Comply with tax and legal requirements (boring but necessary)
  • Prevent fraud and keep the site secure

🚫 What I DON'T Do With Your Data:

  • • Sell it to anyone, ever
  • • Share it with marketers or advertisers
  • • Use it to build creepy profiles about you
  • • Send you spam (I hate spam as much as you do)

The Services I Use (Third Parties)

I work with a few trusted companies to run the business:

Stripe

Handles all payment processing. They have their own privacy policy and are PCI compliant.

Vercel

Hosts the website. They see standard web traffic but don't collect personal data.

Cloudflare

Provides DNS and security. Helps keep the site fast and safe from attacks.

AWS S3

Temporarily stores custom print artwork files securely until your order is complete.

All of these services have their own privacy policies and security measures. Every service I use I tend to prefer based on their reputation for respecting user privacy. Granted, some services tend to be necessary evils, but I do my best to minimize data sharing wherever possible.

Data Security & Storage

I take security seriously:

  • All data transmission uses SSL/TLS encryption (that's the lock icon in your browser)
  • Payment data never touches my servers - it goes straight to Stripe
  • Custom print files are stored securely
  • I use secure cloud services with proper access controls
  • Only I have access to customer data, and only when necessary for order processing

Security is a top priority. Everything is on a need-to-know basis. I don't want your personal info, and I definitely don't want others to have it either. I just want your money. In exchange for stickers.

International Customers

I ship worldwide and respect international privacy laws:

  • Your data may be processed in the United States (where I'm based)
  • I comply with GDPR for EU customers and similar laws elsewhere
  • You have the same privacy rights regardless of where you live
  • International transfers are protected with appropriate safeguards

Privacy should be universal, and that's how I treat it.

Your Rights & Control

You're in control of your data. You can:

  • Access: Ask me what data I have about you
  • Correct: Fix any wrong information
  • Delete: Request deletion of your data (except what I legally need to keep)
  • Port: Get a copy of your data in a standard format
  • Object: Tell me to stop processing your data for specific purposes

Just email me: Want to exercise any of these rights? Just email me at connect@vceindustries.com. I'll respond quickly and without making you jump through hoops.

How Long I Keep Your Data

I don't hoard data. Here's how long I keep things:

Order Information

7 years (required for tax/legal compliance)

Custom Print Files

Stored securely, deleted whenever you want

Email Communications

Until you ask me to delete them

Cart/Session Data

Stored in your browser, expires after 24 hours

Policy Changes

If I need to update this policy, I'll post the changes here and update the date at the top. For major changes that affect how I use your data, I'll email you directly.

I won't make sneaky changes or try to expand data collection without telling you.

Questions? Just Ask!

I'd rather you ask than wonder. If anything in this policy is unclear, or if you have privacy concerns, please reach out.
